Building, activating and accelerating brands is the name of the game and in Joel Idelson, we have one of the top strategists in the industry.

Joel comes from the advertising and branded content world, having worked with an impressive roster of national and global brands, and is a renowned media innovator behind several successful campaigns. He formerly served as chief marketing officer at the beverage innovation company DRINK Maple and was CMO for Connelly Partners, where he brought in and worked with local and national clients including Staples, Gorton’s Seafoods, Partners Health, Barbara’s Cereal, LogMeIn, Mega Foods, Yum Earth organic candy, Hilton Hotels, Four Seasons and BJ’s. The agency was named Ad Age’s “Best Place To Work” during his first year.

He was also executive vice-president of New Business at ad firm Allen & Gerritsen. There, he founded the branded entertainment division and created the popular video series “#AFewGoodMinutes” on AdAge.com, which went on to be produced and distributed by CBS TV. The popular series featured celebrity guests such as Russell Simmons, Donnie Wahlberg and fashion icon Joe Zee.

Joel also served as an executive at two of the world’s largest digital advertising agencies, Digitas and Razorfish, and was on the executive management teams when they both experienced billion dollar acquisitions by Publicis and Microsoft. 

A huge hockey aficionado, he is also the executive producer and host of the weekly TV series “New England Hockey Journal” on NESN.
